My Story
From China. 11 Years in Canada. UX UI Designer & Story Seeker.
Hello friends! My name is Maxine. I am a UX UI Designer with a background in Marketing and administration. I use empathy and creativity to craft digital solutions that, hopefully, breed positive changes.
I hope to bring my perspective and experiences to a team that thrives on meaningful work that empowers people and makes the world slightly better than yesterday.
As a designer, I’m interested in creating experiences that are useful, impactful, and delightful.
As a learner, I constantly reflect, ask questions, and evolve.
In work, I can be a self-motivated designer who tries to be smarter each time when solving new problems or a team player who’s adaptable, positive, and a great listener.
I enjoy hearing new stories, connecting the dots, and understanding more about the world and people.
Aside from world-watching & reflective thinking, I also enjoy spinning, music vibing, gaming, (a bit of) painting, photographing moments (yes, the photo to the left is taken by me), and (maybe excessive) tea-ing while reading.
Currently based in Montréal but open to new opportunities.
